A great alternative to french fries, try these baked polenta fries!

Everyone loves French Fries…. but how about Polenta Fries? Baked, not fried. Incredibly delicious. Crispy and crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. This is an easy-to-prepare snack or appetizer. Pairs well with dipping sauces and your favorite proteins & veggies.

These are best served hot out of the oven. They won’t last long. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 tube San Gennaro Traditional Italian Polenta, sliced into 1/2” matchsticks
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Salt & Pepper
2 Tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 450F.

Place polenta sticks on a parchment lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and turn gently to coat. Season with salt & pepper. Arrange in a single layer, making sure there is space to ensure a crispy and not soggy polenta fry.

Bake 45-50 minutes until crispy and golden. Turn with a spatula at 1/2 way.

Garnish with Parmesan & serve with your favorite dip.

Serve immediately & enjoy.
